A great time was had by all at our 18th annual  doubles  tournament. There were many new  participants, and players came from across Western Canada plus a couple  from the northern USA.  They competed for nearly $1000 in prize money and you will find many new and familiar faces in the tournament winners pictures.   The banquet was held Monday night on site at the curling rink and the caterer did an outstanding job.  Food was plentiful and varied.   The same caterer provide luncheon during the week, providing soup and sandwiches and desserts.  There was also a no host bar each afternoon/evening. 

We owe a big thank you to everyone that helped with preparing the daily coffee and muffins that were complimentary to all participants, and to all those that helped with the court maintenance. Howard Dugan has stepped down as Tournament Director and we extend to him and Fern a big thank you for all their hard work over the past four years.
